CNN Caught Selectively-Editing Trump’s ‘Muslim’ Comments

  • Left-wing cable news network CNN has been caught red-handed selectively editing Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s comments about a “Muslim registry,” and doing so in order to make it sound as though he is agreeing to this registry. He is not.

The edited video is yet another lying log on the left-wing garbage fire that is CNN, and yet in just three weeks, this very same garbage fire is hosting the next Republican presidential debate!

What exactly does CNN have to do in order to lose its right to depose these candidates for two hours in front of the whole world? If CNN is already maliciously editing video to “take out” out the frontrunner, I don’t even want tospeculate.

The left-wing liars at CNN have intentionally edited the video to make it look as though Trump said “absolutely” to a Muslim registry. What CNN edited out is in bold:

Reporter: Should there be a database system that tracks Muslims who are in this country?

Trump: There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases. We should have a lot of systems, and today you can do it. But right now we need to have a border, we have to have strength, we have to have a wall, and we cannot let what’s happening to this country happen any longer.

Reporter: Is that something your White House would like to implement?

Donald Trump: I would certainly implement that. Absolutely.

Trump’s “absolutely” is clearly in reference tostrengthening the border. Look at the whole transcript. When the NBC News reporter asks, “Is that something your White House would like to implement?,” Trump has just talked about fortifying the border and obviously believes that is what the NBC reporteris referring to.

    CNN edited that out!

It is time for Reince Priebus and the Republican Party to stand up these left-wing hit squads disguising themselves as journalists.

CNN should not be allowed within a country mile of a GOP debate.

How many more warning signs does the Republican Party need to realize that this is a suicide mission?

Do we want to win in 2016, or not?

  • Discussion
  • They have picked the wrong guy to pull this on. Trump knows how to make hay out of this crap.

  • The Hispanic media did the same thing with print "news" article about Trump.  Cut out a significant part of what Trump said so they could rile up the hypersenstive faction of Hispanics.  Based on some things I've read on here, it worked.

Its trending on twitter as we speak.

  • On a side note, I loved Trump's typically specific, well-thought-out answer: "There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases. We should have a lot of systems, and today you can do it."

Sounds like has a great plan. cool

As opposed to the "plan" Obama has?
  • It baffles me that the Libs, MSM, and Obama rail against the thought of a "database" of people who we are bringing into our country, have absolutely no real official documentation as to who they are, we have no real way to vet them, and could very likelybe potential terror threats to us.

Uh, we already have these databases.
Every Federal, State, and local enforcement agency has databases of people who are a threat of all sorts.

We have had "No fly Lists" databases for many years.

Now, all of a sudden we can't have a database of "refugees" from know terrorist hotbeds.

What has become of our country?

Why would you infer that I'm defending Obama? huh.gif I'm not.

But I guarantee that anything Obama said on this topic would be less idiotic than Trump's answer.

Trump was smartly redirecting the reporter.

Not sure how you consider that idiotic. Was well done by Trump - the reporter had to misquote Trump to get his desired effect. Trump will come out of this looking good and the reporter will lose credibility for his poor smear job.

  • Duh!  Who among us is NOT on a data base?  I know I am.  FBI took my finger prints when I started teaching at the prison.
  • i am stunned that a liberal media outlet would flat out lie about a republican candidate. this sort of thing happens all the time at fox news i tell ya. CNN might as well take notes from the simpsons edited interview:

Anyone who teaches is fingerprinted.  RRDad is fingerprinted because he can legally possess explosives and radioactive tools and because he has his CHL.  My dad was fingerprinted years ago when he got his pilot's license.  When a woman gives birth, her thumbprint is taken.

We're all in more databases than we dreamed possible.
  • Heck we are all in the Social Security database. When you get a driver's license you are put in the DOT database. Buy a house and you are put in yet another database. Anyone upset that immigrants would be put into a database must be living with theirheads in the sand.

And on the subject of "journalist" and "news reporters", I wish someone would hold every last one of them accountable for their actions. There was a time in this country when news reporters actually reported news, now it's all about ratings and who can out monkey who. Give it a few more years and they won't even bother to investigate and just make 100% of the story up, ahem I mean "news".

  • much like: you cash a check, you need an ID, open a bank account you need an ID, so why can't people who want to LEGALLY vote get an ID when it takes 2 seconds of effort?  oh, right it's because Maury is doing a marathon of episodes of "is my husband sleeping with my brother" shows

  • Immigrants ARE put into databases.  The process is insanely detailed, time consuming, and costly. As it should be.  If someone enters this country legally, the USCIS has more information on file about the person than their home nation does.

The notion that any single group would have its own registry based on religion is a horrifying thought, especially when one knows his history.  Trump stepped on his tongue here, as he often does, by not offering a clear response.  The reporter unethically took advantage of it like a tabloid journalist.  I'm no fan of Trump, but there is no way he is stupid enough to suggest a Muslim registry of some kind.
