  • Hindsight is 20/20, but I get the sense that it would have been a lot easier if USC let Helton go earlier in the year. It would have also been a lot easier, in my opinion, to secure a good hire earlier in the year versus now, when everyone else is also firing their coaches. The timing is off.

    Yes, I understand that Bohn was only recently hired, however, that shouldn’t have precluded the admin from releasing Helton right after the Oregon game. We would have had a significant head start in our coaching search.

    In fact the hiring of Bohn should have happened a lot sooner, too.

    Always bad timing and misjudgments. It’s a recurring theme.
