  • 30 is correct, especially if the offense improves over last season. How can a punter be a top-30 important player if he only gets in the game 3 times? How many times did Tom Malone punt? 185 times in 49 games -- 3.77 times per game (and 75 of those were in his 1st 15 games when USC was just starting with Carroll in 2002-2003) I am glad Baxter is gone. Did you know he offered a scholarship to punter Will Rose (he walked on)? As if 3 K and 2 Punters are a good use of scholarships for any team, let alone one run by Paris Helton.
