  • Any word on whether fucla will play the duckies? Those 2 are missing a home and away with each other.

Good for us to get all the games in this year, but maybe having the second and third place teams play each other might have been a better move than having USC play 2 more games than fucla this season and adding a game prior to the two hardest games on the schedule this year (at Colorado and at fucla).

Unless the duckies and bruins are going to make up those games (there is no real path now for both) the optics are that the conference is trying to give their perennial powers a greater chance to catch USC while not concerning themselves with trivial things like having every team play the same number of games.

That said, I love the mentality of our team going out of its way to get in every game — throwing up a middle finger to COVID. We now have the games in place to be able to get a 3-4 seed in the tourney. Just need to grind out those wins. Buckle up. These last 6 games could be a bumpy ride.
