If this really happened, I'd go all Daffy Duck gif on it.

  • I used Pro Football Network for this mock because it allows trades and is the most user friendly.

    Browns trade 10 and 74 to Dolphins for 26, 39, 56.

Browns would win the trade by 30 points using the Jimmy Johnson values. I have the dolphins taking a QB at 5 and trading up to 10 with Wills and Becton on the board to get their LT. Neither of which I believe the Browns will take at 10. Jared Mueller just tweeted the Dolphins have $5 million in cap space available but $18 million in draft picks so they will need to get rid of a bunch of them.

    #26 - LT - Ezra Cleveland - Boise St
    #39 - FS - Grant Delpit - LSU
    #41 - DE - Marlon Davidson - Auburn
    #56 - LB - Logan Wilson - Wyoming
    #97 - DT - Davon Hamilton - Ohio St
    #115 - Edge - Darrell Taylor - Tennessee
    #187 - CB - Michael Ojemudia - Iowa
    #244 - IOL - Jake Hanson - Oregon

Ezra Cleveland has great potential and will be the LT for 10 years.

Grant Delpit is my favorite FS in the draft, has the highest potential, and is the immediate starter.

Watch Georgia vs Auburn and you’ll see why Marlon Davidson is my top DE, he handled Andrew Thomas pretty well that game. He will be a rotational DE and pass rushing DT this year. In 2021, he’s the starting DE.

Logan Wilson is the best 3 down backer after Murray and Queen. He will immediately be the starting MLB.

Davon Hamilton will be a good rotational DT who could develop into a starter in a year or two.

Darrell Taylor is a high potential edge rusher/SLB. He isn’t totally polished yet and will be a project but could be a starter down the line.

Michael Ojemudia is likely a #3 or #4 CB at best but will provide decent depth.

Jake Hanson can play any of the interior OL spots which makes him valuable.

I’ll throw in my favorite UDFA candidate

    1. DT Garret Marino UAB - he has arguably the quickest get off of any DT I’ve seen this draft but does not have ideal size, strength, and length causing him to be below average in the run game

My sleeper in the draft I’d love the browns to get somehow is LB Justin Strnad from Wake Forest. He’ll likely be drafted in rounds 5-7 due to an injury but was considered a day 2 pick before the injury

Depth my friend, depth. WR would work great here too.
  • A quick 4 rounder. Wirfs was there at 10, but I couldn't pass on the swiss army knife Simmons.

  • I did this on PFN, with a couple of trades. No way it falls like this, but it's fun to speculate.

  • I would trade down and take

    Ezra Cleveland OT Boise State

    Antone Winfield FS Minnesota

    Malik Harrison LB Ohio State

    Davon Hamilton DT Ohio state

    Alex Highsmith Edge Charlotte//

    Evan weaver LB California

    Trye Phillips OG Mississippi State

    Joe Reed WR/KR Virginia

  • My final mock before the draft.

    21: R1P21
    OT JOSH JONES
HOUSTON Browns trade down and get a OT that they are high on while picking up a 2nd and a 4th this year

    41: R2P9
    S XAIVER MCKINNEY
    ALABAMA

Didn't expect McKinney to be here but I would probably take the highest safety here.

    53: R2P21
    DL ROSS BLACKLOCK
    TCU

DT is a huge need as well. This guy has nice talent and will be able to play sooner rather than later.

    74: R3P10
    S JEREMY CHINN
    SOUTHERN ILLINOIS

Wanted to double dip on a few positions. Safety is a huge need. Chinn and McKinney will be a nice tandem.

    97: R3P33
    LB WILLIE GAY JR.
    MISSISSIPPI STATE

Wanted to address LB earlier but had to go with the board. I had originally wanted this pick to go to WR Gandy-Golden but he went off the board a few picks earlier.

    115: R4P9
    C MATT HENNESSY
    TEMPLE

Wanted to add another lineman. Having a OC that can play guard is a nice addition

    146: R4P40
    TE JARED PINKNEY
    VANDERBILT

Missed out on Albert Ok.................................from Missouri but Pinkney has a nice game.

    187: R6P8
    RB MICHAEL WARREN II
    CINCINNATI

Warren is one of my favorite backs in the draft. He is nicknamed the "Truck " He has great feet and vision for a back his size.

    244: R7P30
    WR AARON PARKER
    RHODE ISLAND

This is my diamond in the rough. He has nice size and great hands. Softens the blow of not getting AGG just a bit.

    I got cute here
I traded a third rounder for Trent Williams! Lol

So that's what this draft is based off
    Thoughts?

  • Got a little trade crazy with this one. All trades worked on ProFootballNetwork and fit with Jimmy Johnson’s draft pick values.

Andrew Thomas and Tristan Wirfs are off the board at 10. Browns sign Jason Peters to a 1 year deal for $10 million.

    Trade 10 to Raiders for 12, 80, 159
    Trade 12 to Broncos for 15, 95, 118
    Trade 41 to Rams for 52, 104
    Trade 95, 97, 159 to Redskins for 66

#15 DT Javon Kinlaw - South Carolina
#52 WR Michael Pittman - USC
#66 MLB Logan Wilson - Wyoming
#74 LT Matt Peart - UConn
#80 LB Willie Gay - Mississippi St
#104 Edge Darrell Taylor - Tennessee
#115 Slot CB Amik Robertson - La Tech
    #118 FS Kenny Robinson - WVU/XFL
#187 OL Cameron Clark - Charlotte
#244 DE Nasir Player - East Tenn St

My toughest choice was Gay or Claypool at 80. I like Claypool much more at TE than WR so that’s why I’d consider him but thinking about having the LBs as Willie Gay, Logan Wilson, and Mack Wilson was too good to pass up.
